Expert Lead Discussion Tables have quickly become a well-appreciated part of the FIAT/IFTA World Conferences. Introduced in Warsaw 2016, they call upon all conference attendees to join a table of their choice, where one particular hot topic of media archiving is discussed. In small groups participants can tell about their situation, exchange practices, challenges and solutions, all under the lead of an expert in this domain. Often this is an excellent occasion to start a conversation with other participants of which you might not know that they share your interests. One Expert Lead Discussion Table takes 45 minutes and every subject is discussed twice. This way all participants get the chance to attend two different discussions.
