The film archive, such as a center of dissemination of the audiovisual heritage, has an unbalanced competition for the audience. One of the most important reasons is the collections that they store because they need to find a niche audience in order to compete with the commercial movie theaters. In this digital generation, the technologies are a great supporter. Mainly, the audiovisual platforms are very relevant because they can disseminate information to everyone, especially for audiences that are not in the possibility to visit the film archive in person. The digital platforms could be archival platforms too. We can see some examples such as Xcentric Archive (http://xcentric.cccb.org/es)   and   the   Digital   Library   of   the   National   Library   of   Peru
(http://bibliotecadigital.bnp.gob.pe/opac/#indice).
There are two aims for this presentation.  The first aim is an analysis of the audience behaviour for the improvement of the archival platforms. The second one is to analyze the experiences of two archival platforms for film archives. The two cases studies are Catalunya Film Archive
(http://www.filmoteca.cat/web/) and the National Library of Peru (http://www.bnp.gob.pe/).
